Children in the Wilderness returns to North Island

From the  first till the  fouth of October , North Island, voted ‘No. 1 in the World, Best of the Best’ in the Annual Condé Nast Traveller Readers Awards, for the  third consecutive year closed its doors to paying guests to give a group of 35 disadvantaged Seychellois children the time of their lives.

Child abuse and animal cruelty ‘linked’

Animal abuse is often one of the earliest signs of a child or a family in trouble. And it is often an animal care person arriving on the scene to identify a family in need of social service intervention. Simply put , when animals are abused , people are at risk; when people are abused, animals are likewise in danger.
